Hello! I'm Bailey, and together with my husband Allen, we make up a husband-and-wife team living on Oahu, Hawaii.

My fascination with crystals goes way back to my elementary school days, thanks to my dad who would take me on camping trips in Hiddenite, NC. During those adventures, we would explore rivers and mountains in search of crystals and minerals. Some of the treasures we uncovered during those trips still hold a special place in both my heart and my collection.

 

My love for crystals, rocks, and gems has been a constant presence in my life, but it truly ignited when I became a mom in 2018. Allen and I frequently found ourselves exploring crystal shops across the island and browsing through vendor booths at local fairs. Then, when the lockdowns of 2020 arrived, I was a stay-at-home mom to our two young children. It was during this time that I discovered the world of online and Instagram-based crystal shopping. As my crystal collection expanded, Allen playfully began teasing me, suggesting that I should be in "crystal jail" due to the regular arrival of crystal packages at our doorstep.

 

One evening, on a whim, I mentioned to Allen that I wanted to start a crystal shop of my own, named “Bye Crystal Jail” for other crystal lovers who want to treat themselves to a nice addition in their crystal collection. That very night, we designed a logo and began the process of establishing Bye Crystal Jail as an LLC. Initially, it was a solo venture, as Allen had a full-time business of his own. However, over time, we started working together to bring you a curated selection of beautiful crystals sourced from various areas of the world.
